Zenaida Quitevis, 82, of Wapato passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at her home in Wapato.
She was born May 26, 1936 in Alcala, Pangasinan, Philippines. She attended the University of the East in the Philippines. Zenaida moved to the US in 1976 and lived in Wapato for 35 years.
She loved cooking and sewing. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, fishing and volunteering at the Filipino Hall for many years with the Lolas.
She is survived by nieces, Lowela Rickert of Toppenish, Maritess Martinez of Wapato, Florence Lucero of Singapore, and Marlisa Fronda of Alaska; half sisters, Marietta Fronda and Aida Fronda of the Philippines; several nieces and nephews and grandkids in the Philippines and the US, and many special friends including Alfredo, Luisa & Claudia Robles & family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Quitevis; her parents, several cousins and a stepson.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 8, 2018 from 3-6 PM at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato. Recitation of the rosary will begin at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Wapato. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.valleyhillsfh.com.
