Yvonne Mork

Yvonne J. Mork ( June 25, 1930 - March 25, 2022 ) Yvonne Mork of Zillah, Washington passed away March 25, 2022 at Crescent Health Care in Yakima, Washington. She was born in Yakima, Washington on June 25, 1930. She was raised in the Buena Heights area of Buena, Washington. She attended and graduated from Toppenish High School class of 1948. Yvonne married Melvin J. Mork in 1955. They were married for 47 years until Mel’s passing in 2002. They had one son Randall Mork. Yvonne worked at the Big Y warehouse in Sawyer when she was younger. She spent most of her working life at Stadelman Fruit Inc. of Zillah, working as a fruit sorter. She retired in 1995 at the age of 65. She found and had many friends while working at Stadelmans. Mom loved and had numerous pets especially cats, she enjoyed talking to them and continued to chat with them over the phone up to her passing. Yvonne is survived by her son Randy, his wife Tam and their children Steven (Yakima) Eric and Brittany, both of Zillah. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin, two sisters and four brothers. The family would like to thank the staff of Crescent Health Care for all the kindness, love and attention given to mom while she was in their care.
