Yasmin Rivera-Diaz

Yasmin Esmeralda Rivera Diaz, 15, of Prosser died Aug. 17 in Oregon. Ms. Diaz was born in Modesto, Calif., and lived in the Lower Valley most of her life. Survivors include her parents, Maria and Jose Rivera; a brother, Carlos Rivera, all of Prosser; and two sisters, Maria Rivera of Granger and Karla Rivera of Prosser. Viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, with recital of the rosary at 7 p.m., at Valley Hills Funeral Home of Sunnyside. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Granger. Graveside services will follow in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside.
