William Schloss

William Schloss 74 of Grandview passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014. He was born September 5th 1940 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Joseph Schloss and Otillia Geiser Schloss. William had 5 brothers and 2 sisters; Tony Schloss, Trudy Ritchie, Frank Schloss, Tom Schloss, Roger Schloss, Raymond Schloss, and Dorothy Plasic. He attended school in Yakima as a young boy and later attended Grandview High School. As an adult William worked for various construction companies and ran Riverview Farms in Grandview for 15 years. William married Ellenor G. Clark on November 10th, 1958. They had four sons, Gaylynn Schloss, Gary Schloss, Tony Schloss, and Chad Schloss. William loved riding his motorcycle and working on classic cars. He also liked to invent and build things in his shop and hanging out with his friends at the 10-4 Café in Grandview. William is preceded in death by his parents; Joe & Tilly Schloss, brother; Tony Schloss and friend and companion Lila Furakawa. He is survived by sons Gaylynn (Guillermina) Schloss, Gary (Sherrie) Schloss, Tony (Chris) Schloss, and Chad (Luisa) Schloss; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A Memorial Services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, October 18, 2014 at The Grandview Community Church of God in Grandview WA. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in care of all arrangements.
