William Sarsfield

William Patrick Sarsfield II (Pat), 65, of White Swan passed away December 06, 2019 in the arms of his loving wife, Lola. Pat was born on April 25, 1954 in Seattle, WA to parents William and Janice Sarsfield. Pat married his soulmate Lola White on March 10, 1973 in Redmond WA, together they had four children. In September of 1973 they were blessed with their first child “Princess” Patricia Lynn Sarsfield. In April of 1976 God gifted Pat a birthday blessing and his first son William Patrick Sarsfield III (Billy). TEN!!! Years later in July of 1985 they had a second daughter Megan LaVelle Sarsfield and in December 1988 a second son Anthony Nicolas Sarsfield. In 1998 God blessed them with another son Edgar Thomas Berry born October 1988. Pat worked as a master mechanic for most of his life in one form or another and in 1988 he found his home away from home at Latum Creek Ranch. It was here he met Harold Stevenson and family and worked as their mechanic, inventor, teacher and all-around factotum until his passing. Pat was a creator, a dreamer and all-around handy man. He loved fixing things, solving problems, riddles and puzzles. Pat loved the outdoors, enjoyed riding bikes, fishing and archery. Pat also loved reading, playing games with his family and music. It was a rare occasion if you saw him without his guitar. Pat knew no strangers and was a friend and teacher to many. His knowledge like his heart was vast and he was always willing to share what he could to nurture the people around him. Pat loved to laugh and always had numerous jokes at the ready to incite laughter and joy in the hearts of those blessed enough to meet him. Pat is preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence and LaVelle, parents William and Janice, uncle James Edward Sarsfield and sister Maureen Morford. He is survived by his soulmate Lola Sarsfield of 47 years, Children: Patricia, William and Carrie, Megan, Anthony, Edgar and Sarah. Siblings: Theresa, Michael, and Bradley. Nieces and Nephews: Michael, Elizabeth and Madeline, Theresa Agnes and Stanley and their children Austin, Fred and Steven. Grandchildren: William Patrick VI, Aiden, Kyle and Ember and all his friends and extended family. A viewing will be held at Valley Hill Funeral Home in Wapato, WA on 12/13/2019 from 3:30pm-6:30pm followed by a Rosary at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in White Swan, WA at 7:00pm. Service will be held on Saturday 12/14/2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in White Swan, WA from 11am-12pm. His final resting place will be in Goldendale WA, at the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
