William Lawson

"Bill" William H Lawson Sr Our Dad passed away Friday May 8, 2015 at Prestige Rehab Center in Sunnyside, WA with family by his side and in the arms of his daughter Robin. Dad was 85, born 6-22-29 in Bentonville, Ark He was a christian pastor and preacher for 50-60 years and also owned and operated an upholstery shop in Searcy, Ark. He lived with his children in Granger for12 years and the last 2 years at Sun Terrace in Sunnyside. He enjoyed music and singing with his family, including Heartstrings at the Mabton gospel music jamboree. He is survived by his children, Teresa Schlottmann, William Lawson Jr., Debbie Skinner, Gwen Lawson, Shelby Bumgardner, Kevin Lawson, Robin Abrams; Their mother, Joyce; his sisters and brother in Arkansas, Shirley Holliday, Jerry Scott, and Jim Lawson; numerous grand and great grand children, nieces and nephews. Dad joins many of his loved ones in heaven, including his daughter Cynthia, who passed away in 2009. Dad loved all of his family very much and he would say that his wish would be, " that you all would come to know Jesus and be ready when God calls your name." Memorial services will be held Saturday May 30, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Valley Life Baptist Church in Grandview. Pastor Fred Cohu officiating.
