Bill A. Everts, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away April, 28th in Yakima, WA, surrounded by family. Bill was born in Yakima, on August 28, 1933 to William and Greta Everts. Bill lived his entire life in the Yakima Valley and was a proud orchardist. For many years, he and wife Jane owned an operated their own farms in the Yakima Valley. In 1990, he went to work for friend Larry Lantis as his orchard foreman at Triple L farms, before retiring in 2005. Bill loved farming and worked hard his entire life while enjoying his work everyday! Bill enjoyed camping with his family and friends, playing the slots at the casino and having family gatherings.
Bill met his wife Jane in 1974 and got married that same year on July, 6. They would have celebrated their 46th anniversary this year. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, along his brothers Alvin and Floyd. He is survived by wife Jane, and siblings Shirley, Donnie and Clifford, daughters Amy, Julie, Jenny, Sherrie and Shelly. Sons Terry, Larry and John, along with 7 grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be on Saturday, May 5th, 1pm at the Harmon Center(101 N 65th Ave.) in Yakima. Donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice. Valley Hills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
