William Compton was born to Lorne and Ruby Compton on May 20, 1944. William was the fifth child of the family amongst 3 brothers; Richard, Alford and Dimmer and one sister; Bonnie.
William joined the United Stated Army during the trying times of Vietnam. Wiley trained as a mechanic and very much enjoyed all things motor red. He worked as a auto mechanic the rest of his working days here in the Yakima Valley. He also had a passion for doing little models of cars, planes, and trains. Wiley eventually met the love of his life and companion for 14 years Beverly (B.J) Graham. Unfortunately they never had any children together. She was tragically taken from Wiley due to cancer, which also took the life of William after a way too short stay at the Landmark Care Center Facility. William will be greatly missed by all that crossed paths with him! Per William’s request there will be no services.
