William Walter Bledsoe, 72, met his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 4th, 2016 at Sunnyside Community Hospital in Sunnyside, Washington following a long battle with pulmonary disease. Bill was born July 12, 1943 in Harvard, Idaho to William and Mildred(McCoy) Bledsoe. He proudly served in Vietnam with the United States Navy and later graduated with a Bachelor of Sacred Literature from Central Washington Bible College. Bill was a talented sheet metal craftsman who built a life through hard work, dedication and focus. He was a longtime resident of Ellensburg, Washington but spent time as a pastor in Thorp, WA, Westlock, Alberta and Edgerton and Sheridan, Wyoming. He will be remembered for his passion for Jesus Christ and unwavering belief that one is saved through the finished work of Jesus’ death on the cross. He was a prayer warrior and a faithful servant. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Bledsoe; sisters, Mary Shaw and Jean Davis. Bill is survived by his four children, Paula McCracken(Rob), Will Bledsoe(Tom), Joshua Bledsoe and Caleb Bledsoe; three grandchildren; two sisters, Terrill Bieker(John) and Nancy Flodin(Art); and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11:00am at Thorp Community Church, 150 1st. Street, Thorp, Washington. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Moscow Cemetery, 1650 Troy Rd, Moscow, ID 83843.
