Willard Dewaine Boyle February 25th 1922 – July 26th 2024 On July 26th Dad slipped quietly off to meet the lord and all his loved ones that had gone before him. Dad had an amazing life; he saw many changes in his lifetime. Dad was born February 25th, 1922, in Philip South Dakota. Dad, his brother Everrett & Cousin Howard worked in the CC camp that was up on Hwy 410. He then joined the Navy, (January 1941-January 1947.) When he returned to the valley he went to work for a local farmer. He married the love of his life Theresa Rose Sheilds on November 2nd, 1948. They had three children Kenneth, Carl & Sandy. For short time they moved to Olympia, where dad worked in furniture store. When they moved back, he went into the logging business driving a logging truck and as a Lumberjack. After leaving the logging business, he went to work at White Swan school district as a bus driver, maintenance man, electrician, plumber and many other duties. (Jack of all trades) He worked there for 20+ years. After retiring from the school, he continued to work on his own vehicles and many other valley resident’s rigs. He loved dabbling in farming, raising his own hay and helping the farmers with anything from baling, swathing, truck driving, to working on their farm equipment. It was seldom that you found him without a tool in his hand fixing something. Mom and Dad took many fun motorcycle trips with family & friends. Dad always looked forward to the Huckleberry picking trips. Along with his dog they spent many hours in the Huckelberry Feilds. Dad also enjoyed the Black Powder Rendezvous. Dad’s special joy was spending time with his Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren & Great Great Grandchildren. He is survived by his three children Ken (Deb), Carl & Sandy (Richard), His two sisters Ester and Marion, his Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren. Several Neice's and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mom & Dad, His Wife Theresa, Brother’s, Everrett, Bud, George, Glenn & Donny. Granddaughter Kenerie. The viewing will be at Valley Hills Funeral Home Wapato, Washington. Thursday Aug, from 4:00-7:00 Graveside services at West Hills Cemetery 10:00 Friday Aug 2nd In memory of Dad if you have Bib Overhauls and a Baseball Cap, please wear them. After the graveside service we will meet at the West Valley JH Cafeteria to have his favorite snack. Milk and Cookies.
