Wayne Jorgensen

Wayne LeRoy Jorgensen passed away on January 18, 2020 at the age of 86. He was a much-loved special son of Howard and Ruby Jorgensen. He is survived by his sister Maxine Lydin, and three nieces: Karen (Tom) Rand of Monmouth, Oregon and Cheryl (Brad) Mellotte and Jan (Dean) Bass, both of Yakima, as well as 8 great-nephews and nieces, 5 great-great nephews and nieces and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ruby Jorgensen as well as brother-in-law Leonard Lydin. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. A time of sharing and refreshments will follow at 12:00 noon at West Valley Church of the Nazarene, 7109 W. Nob Hill Blvd., Yakima. The family would like to thank the Jack Reese Adult Home Care family and staff, as well as the staff of Cedar Hills Group Home, for their 20 years of loving care for Wayne.
