Wasene Hoskins

Wasene Hoskins, 89, of Sunnyside passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Sunnyside. Wasene was born March 2, 1924 in Thornfield, Missouri, to Jess and Jesse (Abshire) Dukworth. She worked at Stokley Van Camp’s for a number of years. She also worked for many years at Libbey’s in Grandview and retired in 1986 from Libbey’s. She enjoyed quilting and baking pies. Wasene is survived by her son Gary (Pat) Haskins of Sunnyside, grandson Todd Hoskins (Drew Falkner) of Athol, Idaho. 3 great grandchildren; Ashlee Tistan & Blaine Haskins and Andy Falkner all of Athol Idaho. Brother Eugene (Earl) Duckworth (Cookie) of Toledo, Washington and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Gregory Hoskins and her brother Herman Duckworth. At Wasene’s request there will be no formal services. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in care of all arrangements.
