Warren Bond

December 8, 1938 — January 16, 2014

Warren “Buck” Bond, husband of 54 years, father, and grandfather, passed away at home on Thursday morning, January 16th, 2014, from his battle with cancer. He was born in Toppenish on December 8, 1938 to Dr Lewis Bond and Clara (Summers) Bond. He graduated from Toppenish and in 1959 he married his wife Geraldine “Geri” Schademan. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life. Working for Hyster for several years and then starting his own business “Bond’s Lift Truck Repair”. He retired after his time with Price Cold Storage. He was a sports enthusiast; he loved football (Seahawks) and NASCAR Racing. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, camping at the beach house, gardening, working on models, cross-wording and family vacations every year to Ilwaco to fish, and lots of other vacations. His parents and a brother precede him in death. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Bond, his son Mark (Tina) Bond and his daughter Brenda (David) Durrett. Grandchildren; Josh and Tiffany Crider, Ashley McLemore ,Kourtney Durrett and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service to be held at the Zillah Cemetery on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014 at 1pm with a reception to follow.
