Wanda Bandy was born to Ray and Marie Loveland on November 13, 1940, in Springfield, Missouri. As a life-long believer in Christ, she entered Heaven on June 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Wanda was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus with her whole heart. She had a passion for learning, singing, and growing in God’s Word, all of which she passed down to her children and grandchildren. All of the kids loved sitting with her at the piano playing music and singing bible songs. We cherish each moment that we were given with her and her memory will live forever in the hearts of the lives she touched.
Wanda is survived by her sister Vera Lakey, brother Reggie (Judy) Loveland, brother Kenny (Karen) Loveland, son Steve (Dee) Vinsant, son Stanley (Debbie) Vinsant, daughter Laveda Vinsant, step-daughter Vickie (Mark) Scatina, and step-son Randy (Shonne) Bandy. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Keith Bandy, parents Ray and Marie Loveland, sister Fern Erickson, brother-in-law Bob Lakey, son-in-law Shawn Fester, granddaughter Tamara Ross, great-granddaughter Emily Vinsant, and first husband Jeffrey Vinsant.
As we mourn the loss of this remarkable woman, let us also celebrate her life, her love, and the positive impact she had on our lives. Rest in peace, dear Wanda, and know that your love and warmth will never be forgotten.
