In Loving Memory of Virginio Perez Flores
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished father, Virginio Perez Flores
of Sunnyside, Washington, who left us peacefully on June 4, 2025, at the age of 85, surrounded by
his loving family.
Virginio was a kind, strong, and loving man who always put his family first. He was known for his
incredibly caring and generous spirit. His presence lit up every room, and his gentle nature touched
countless lives. To know him was to feel seen, supported, and genuinely loved. He had a remarkable
gift for making people feel special and formed many lifelong friendships along the way.
Over the course of his life, Virginio was blessed with a large and loving family. He worked hard, gave
the best hugs, and had a quiet wisdom that comforted everyone around him. Whether he was
telling jokes or a funny story, working outdoors, or offering thoughtful advice, he always did it with
love and patience.
He taught us the value of honesty, hard work, and kindness. His presence brought peace, and his
smile warmed every room. He was our protector, our guide, and our greatest supporter.
Virginio was married three times. He is survived by his beloved wife, Angelita Alvarez Flores. He was
previously married to Manuela Ortiz, and Maria Cavazos, who preceded him in death and whom he
lovingly remembered throughout his life.
He was the proud father of:
From his first marriage: Virginio Flores Jr., Ismael Flores, Ramiro Flores (deceased), Daniel Flores,
Ruben Flores and Michael Flores.
From his second marriage: Albert C. Flores, Maria Francisca Flores Thomas, Veronica C. Flores
(deceased), and Erica C. Flores (deceased).
With his beloved wife Angelita: Virginio A. Flores and Gabriel A. Flores.
He is also survived by his dear brother, Alfredo Flores, as well as 25 grandchildren, 33 great-
grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
We will miss him more than words can express, but we are grateful for every moment we had with
him. His love will live on in our hearts forever and we will continue to honor him by living our lives
with the love, strength and kindness he showed every day.
A viewing will be held on June 19th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and a celebration of life will take
place on June 20, 2025, at Valley Hills Funeral Home, 531 S 16th St, Sunnyside, WA. All who knew
and loved Virginio are warmly invited to attend both the services and the reception.
Rest peacefully, Daddy. We love you always.
