Violet and her husband squared danced for more than 50 years and received many awards.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L Green, her daughter, Joyce Edwards, her granddaughter Denise Grimsley, and great granddaughter, Christina Grimsley.
God saw that she was getting tired,
A cure was not to be.
So he put His arms around her
And whispered, ''Come with Me.''
With tearful eyes, we watched her suffer.
And saw her fade away.
Although we loved her dearly,
We could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating.
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes ''the best''
Visitation is planned for Friday from 2-5PM at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Yakima. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday at 1:00PM at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Valley Hills Funeral Home is caring for the family.
