Vicki Nickole Casseseka (Twixt)
Vicki was born on February 19, 1959 to Willard and Catherine (Goudy) Arquete in Toppenish, WA. Her
Indian name was Twixt.
She passed away November 11, 2023 batling multple illnesses.
She attended both White Swan and Chemawa Indian School.
She held job positions as an Emergency Medical Technician (White Swan Ambulance), a Phlebotomist
(I.H.S.), and Receptionist (Yakama Nation Housing Authority). For many years, our Yakama people would
ask for their favorite phlebotomist at the lab.
Vicki leaves behind companion Charlie Doublerunner.
She leaves behind four daughters: Natalie, Kate, Leslie & Jade. 11 grandkids: Melanie, Kimberlie, Alexis,
Venessa, Laila, Keira, Carmine, Jonathan, Asher, Ember, & youngest grandchild Cedar is on the way.
Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She leaves behind three sisters: Bobbie, Ellen & Tina) Vicki was the baby of the family and when her
siblings were at school, she became Dad’s helper.
She will reunite with her dad Willard, mom Catherine, sister Bety, brother Tim, & husband Clifford.
Vicki loved horses (especially “The Colt” whom matched her personality), swimming, and gathering
traditional foods. She deeply cared for Elders and relatives. She was the best backup. She was a
Masterful Beadworker. She would encourage everyone to “Vote!” Words cannot express how much she
will be missed.
Dressing service Monday Nov. 13th 10am Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato. From there to Toppenish
Longhouse in Toppenish, WA. 3pm Open Denominations service. Overnight Washat Service at Toppenish
Longhouse. Sunrise Burial Tuesday Nov. 14th at Umtuch Logie Cemetery.
