Thomas A. Serna of Toppenish, Wa went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2016. Tom was born to Santiago and Salome Serna on June 19, 1939 in Worland, Wyoming. He married Esther Juarez on June 22, 1958 and were married for 53 years. After her passing, he married Lori Perez in July of 2013.
He was a member of Templo Cristiano for many years. He worked for Wapato School District, Branding Iron Restaurant, and later became owner of Esther’s El Paso Café in 1994.
He was a loving, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, and Cousin. He loved his family dearly, always willing to lend a helping hand.
His hobbies include his collection of his Cadillacs, and other antiques. He also enjoyed participating in the parades around the valley each year.
Survivors include his wife Lori Serna, Deborah (Oscar) Gonzalez of Wapato, Patricia Silva of Buena, Thomas Serna Jr. of Jackson, CA, Michael Serna of Toppenish, Mary Ann Mayorga (Silvano) of Toppenish, Tracy Serna of Toppenish, and Daniel Serna of Toppenish. He enjoyed his 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. After marrying Lori, he accepted her children Francisco(Zulema) Perez, Freddy Perez, Nancy Perez, Jessica Cueva, and Monica Perez and her 11 grandchildren as part of his family.
