Thomas Meadows

Thomas "Mike" Meadows, 65, of Outlook, WA, passed away September 9, 2015 after fracturing a hip in a fall at his home. Mike was born on September 1, 1950, in Colville, WA to Vernon and Christine Meadows. He attended schools in Naches, WA and Burlington/Mt. Vernon, WA, graduating from Burlington-Edison High School. He enlisted in the Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He married Cathy in 1976 and his son Andy was born in 1984. He was employed for many years at the Goldendale Aluminum plant in various positions before it was closed. Mike was preceded in death by both parents, Vern and Christine Meadows; his brothers, Shelby and William Meadows; foster parents, Vic and Bev Straub of Burlington, WA; and foster brother, Steve Straub. He is survived by his wife, Cathy; son, Andy and his wife, Carly, of Kent, WA; nephew Michael Meadows and his family of Yakima, WA; foster siblings Vicki Hammer of Iron River, WI and Stan Straub of Burlington WA; sisters-in-law Luan Sepulveda of Vancouver, WA and Gayle Hammit of The Dalles, OR; nieces Laurie, Patti, and Debbie Meadows and Raquel Sepulveda; nephews Ross and Raymond Hammit and Scott Sepulveda; and long-time friend Vern Curtis and his wife Sue of Mt. Vernon, WA. He is finally free of pain and resting in peace. A memorial service will be held at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA on September 18th at 2:00 pm. with a reception to follow.
