Teodolinda Huitron Cardenas

Teodolinda Cardenas, beloved widow, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, at the age of 64.

Born on August 14, 1961, in Apatzingan, Michoacán, Teodolinda built a beautiful life centered around family, friendship, and laughter. She was the proud mother of three children and a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

For more than 40 years, she called Grandview home, where she became known for her warm personality, social spirit, and unforgettable contagious laugh that could brighten any room. She cherished time spent with family and friends and had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome.

Teodolinda was a strong-willed and resilient woman with an admirable go-getter work ethic. She was a hardworking and determined person who faced life with strength, dedication, and perseverance in everything she did.

Teodolinda She greatly enjoyed crocheting for her loved ones. She also treasured traveling the country in the semi-truck with her husband, creating memories together on the open road and enjoying the adventure of seeing new places.

She will be remembered for her caring heart, sense of humor, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her three children, Alberto Jr., Griselda, and Eduardo; her nine grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 26th from 3-7pm with the rosary starting at 5:30pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA. Mass will be at Blessed Sacrament in Grandview, WA at 10:00 AM with the burial to follow at the Mabton Cemetery.

Nació el 14 de agosto de 1961 en Apatzingan, Michoacan, y construyó una hermosa vida centrada en la familia, la amistad y la alegría. Fue la orgullosa madre de tres hijos y una amorosa abuela de nueve nietos, quienes fueron una inmensa bendición y alegría en su vida.

Por más de 40 años, Grandview fue su hogar, donde era conocida por su personalidad calidad, su espíritu sociable y su inolvidable y contagiosa risa que iluminaba cualquier lugar. Disfrutaba profundamente pasar tiempo con su familia y amistades, y tenía un don especial para hacer sentir bienvenidos a todos.

A Teodolinda Ella disfrutaba mucho tejer crochet para sus seres queridos. También disfrutó mucho viajar por el país en el camión con su esposo, creando recuerdos juntos en la carretera y disfrutando la aventura de conocer nuevos lugares.

Será recordada por su corazón bondadoso, su sentido del humor y el amor que brindó generosamente a quienes la rodeaban. Su presencia será profundamente extrañada, pero permanecerá para siempre en el corazón de su familia y amigos.

Le sobreviven sus tres hijos, Alberto Jr., Griselda y Eduardo; sus nueve nietos; además de muchos familiares y queridos amigos.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el martes 26 de mayo, de 3:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m., con el rezo del rosario comenzando a las 5:30 p.m. en la Funeraria Valley Hills, en Sunnyside, WA. La misa se celebrará en la Iglesia Blessed Sacrament, en Grandview, WA, a las 10:00 a. m., El entierro tendrá lugar a continuación en el Cementerio de Mabton, WA.
