Tana Marie Hunt (Lumyi) of Wapato, WA went to be with the Creator on February 15, 2019 while surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of her home. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was our warrior and fought cancer not only for herself but for her family.
She was survived by her son, Philip T. Hill, and daughter, Tamera A. Tom both of Wapato, WA. Her grandson’s; Alford R. Waldron III, Marlon L. Sam Jr., and Tristan A.K. Sam all of Wapato. Her significant other, Aaron Meninick of White Swan, her siblings; Jennifer Jim, Leslie Jim, Tammy Hunt-White, Marnie L. Hunt, Sarah L. Hunt, Vincent Hunt, Jody Hunt, and Kenneth Hunt.
Tana was preceded in death by her parents; James Hunt Jr., and Melinda Yallup Hunt, her daughter, Melinda Hunt, and grandkids Samantha A. Hill, and Tana L. Hill.
There will be a dressing Saturday, February 16, 2019, 1 pm at Valley HiIlls Funeral Home with overnight services to follow at the family home. Overnight services will be on Sunday night, February 17, 2019, at Toppenish Creek Longhouse in White Swan, WA. Burial will be Monday Morning, at the Winnier Cemetery in Toppenish, WA.
