Sylvia Clark

Sylvia Irene Clark passed away peacefully on October 19, 2018 at Crescent Health Care. Sylvia was born on January 30, 1923 to Albert and Wendla Hendrickson who immigrated as young adults from Finland and settled in Seattle, WA. Syliva was raised in Tieton, Washington on her family orchard after moving there in 1928. She graduated from Tieton High School. After high school Sylvia completed Business School in Yakima, WA and worked for U.S. Motors in Los Angeles. Sylvia married Horace Clark on June 20, 1942. After three years of traveling with Horace during his Navy career, in 1948 the couple purchased the Hendrickson Farm and settled in Tieton to raise their three children. After retirement they built a home in Gleed and traveled around the United States visiting family and friends in their RV. Sylvia is survived by here 3 children: Sherry McLain, Robert Clark, and Mark Clark. She has 9 grandchildren: Kristine Dillon, Karmen Carlson, Kevin Weeks, Aimee McGuire, Joseph Clark, Jennifer Keith, Anna Marie Clark, Benjamin Clark, Ryan Clark, and 6 great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Crescent Health Care for the years of exceptional care of our beloved Sylvia Clark, may she rest in peace. There will be no formal service.
