Stig Mareld

Stig Folke Mareld, 92, of Yakima died Sunday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mr. Mareld was born in Stockholm and served in the Swedish Army during World War II. He worked as an electrical engineer for Litton Industries in Los Angeles for many years and lived in Yakima for more than 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Marianne Mareld of Yakima; a daughter, Monica Britt-Inger Wood of Las Vegas; and a grandchild. At his request, there will be no services.
