Sharon Williams

April 20, 1945 — October 14, 2023

Sharon was adopted as a one year old by her parents, Ed and Claira Willams in central Michigan. When she was first adopted she was very sick. Her mother fed her whole cows milk with all the cream and she got so much better. When Sharon was eight years old her parents moved the family to Colorado. Shortly thereafter her father passed tragically from a brain aneurysm. After her fathers passing her mother moved herself and Sharon back to Michigan where she lived until she was fifteen years old. At fifteen her mother moved them to Los Angelas California. At sixteen Sharon got her first job at an electrical component manufacturing company. This would be one of the two places she worked while in California making various electrical components. It was during this time that her and her mother joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In 1990 Sharon moved to Zillah Washington with her mother to a home on Sharon Ave. Sharons mom passed in 1998. Shortly thereafter, in 2001, she moved in with Cindy Cook. She has lived with Cindy for 22 years. During that time, the two of them have shared many adventures. Some of the highlights of those adventures are, the two cruises in Alaska, a trip to Michigan to visit and sing hymns at her mothers grave. A trip to Disneyland and two trips to Friday Harbor. Cindy’s favorite trip, full of happy memories with Sharon, is the second cruise they took together to Alaska.
