Sharon Moser

November 28, 1935 — July 15, 2018

Sharon Lee Moser, 82, of Selah, WA passed away July 15, 2018 at Cottage in the Meadow, Yakima, WA. Sharon was born November 28, 1935 to Virgil and Emma (Harding) Ackerman in Walla Walla, WA. She is preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Emma, brother Tommy, sister Joan, husband Richard and children Michele, Matthew and Murray. She is survived by her aunt Jean, sister Phyllis (Lou), brother Garry (Sylvia), her nieces and nephews, sons Michael (Donna), Mark (Mary), daughter Maria (Richard), grandchildren Alisha, Stephan (Natalie), Joshua (Jessica), Alex and Eric, great grandchildren Seirra (Tim), Stephan Jr., Mandala, Raelyn and Abigail and great grandson, Castiel. Sharon married her high school sweetheart Warren “Rusty” Hyslop. Together they had six children. As the years passed they found themselves going different directions. After years of different jobs she obtained her Real Estate license and when the housing market slumped she went back to college to become an Interior Decorator specializing in Floral Design. Her floral designs were beautiful and attention to detail showed in her work. Not wanting to travel long distance for work she moved into Property Management where she and her husband Richard worked together until retirement. In 2001 they moved to Selah, WA to be near Richard’s hometown of Yakima. Their passion for gardening became a full time job creating and maintaining the most beautiful yard. Unfortunately, Richard passed away in 2009 and she became riddled with ol’ Arthur-itis as we called it. Her yard work slowed and we decided she needed company. Along came her fur babies Odie and Cali. Her cats were her life and they were together in her final hours at home. From her children: Your unconditional love and devotion to family and those you cared for will always be remembered and you will always be in our hearts. Love, your son Michael You will be truly missed by all. You were always really nice to people. You raised a family of six that had to have been a handful. I will always admire you for how tough you were. You were the hardest worker I've ever seen. I'll always respect you for that. You were also the cleanest person I've ever seen. I'm very sorry we lost you so abruptly. May God bless you. I will miss you, but am glad you will not suffer anymore. Rest in peace. Love forever, your son Mark Thank you mom for everything you have done for us. Hugs and kisses and a whole bunch of love. Heaven is lucky to have you and we have a guardian angel. Love you always, your daughter Maria Special thank you to Cottage in the Meadow for making her last days on earth the best they could be. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
