Sharon Gillihan

January 23, 1952 — December 28, 2024

Sharon Kay Gillihan 72 went to be with her heavenly father on December 28, 2024. She was born in Yakima, Washington on January 23, 1952 to Norton and Elsie Palmer, and grew up in Selah, graduating from Selah High School class of 1970. Sharon studied at Museum Art School and later on to Floral Design School in Portland, Oregon. She worked for Shopkeeper in Yakima for many years. She started her own business called Design Artistry in 2000, which specialized in weddings. She also did floral arrangements for The Country Club. Sharon loved collecting dolls. She was a member of Friendship Doll Club, and enjoyed traveling to Doll Conventions. Her interest in travel did not stop there, she loved to travel with her husband Jim, and their adventures led them to visit many countries together. Sharon is survived by her husband James Gillihan, and her sister Nadine Palmer, her nephew Gregory (Marney) Spurgin of Moxee and her niece Lisa (David) Buchanan of Coulee City. To my love forever Sharon from her husband Jim. Services will be held at later date in March at Yakima Valley Community Church.
