Sharon Ann (Kimzey) Adams
12/30/41-4/5/14
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
(Isaiah 40:31)
Sharon was born to Charles and Alice Kimzey where she was dedicated to the Lord by the attending doctor and his nurse, in a small town clinic in Cheney, Washinton.
Our dear wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother departed from this life, leaving all its heaviness, called into Glory to be further clothed in the Lord’s eternal love and life. Her time here on earth was spent giving each of us the knowledge for His strength, His love, and His great grace. For without Jesus there is no real meaning to this life. In Him alone…there is life. And…in this life…we are only passing through and the life ahead, with Him, is eternal.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
This was mom, and her husband Mel’s, wedding scripture. And it has been the testimony of her life. His love…the love of Jesus never failed her and her love never failed us. His testimony was hers.
She did not want a list of life long accomplishments remembered…she wanted Jesus to be seen in her life clear to the end. And He was. She did not want tears in her passing (although she knew they would come). Her prayer was for us to carry on with Jesus, walking in His love and salvation every day. For…we will all die…but to live, in Him, death has no sting to those who know Him. Because, as He was resurrected and lives...by Him, so will we…to be forever together in Glory.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
(Revelation 21:3-5)
And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. (Revelation 22:17)
Till we meet again…dearest and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother…”we love you more”…
She is survived by her loving husband Mel; sister, Donna (Warren) Paul; brother, James Kimzey; children, Susan (Stephan) Segal, Stacy (Tim) Rehfield, Rob (Lana) Burnett, Carrie Pearce; Mel’s children whom she loved, Mike, Stephanie, and Anita. And between them she had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Vicki, Gene, and Keith.
