Shane Lance Rodriquez

Shane Lance Rodriquez “Kupstalish” was born on March 2, 2000, arriving into this world on his own terms in an ambulance on the way to Yakima. From the very beginning, Shane showed a strong and determined spirit that would continue throughout his life.

Shane was raised in the White Swan community and was a proud graduate of White Swan High School, Class of 2018. As a White Swan Cougar, he enjoyed playing basketball and valued the friendships and memories he made during his school years.

Shane had a deep love for the outdoors and his culture. He enjoyed hunting, gathering, participating in medicine dance, and spending time with friends and family. He cherished being surrounded by those he loved and brought strength, laughter, and presence wherever he went.

Shane passed away at his home in Harrah. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten.

He is lovingly survived by his mothers, Charlene Tillequots “Ti-in-un-mi” and Anastasia Tillequots “Anastia.” He is also survived by his siblings: Sacheen Whitefoot, Delmar “DJ” Whitefoot, Jade Tillequots, Tionna Tillequots, Chance Tillequots, Kobi Rodriguez, Dion Rodriguez, J’shon Brady, Abigail Brady, Ruby Rodriguez, and Crystal (Fabian) Bass.

Shane was preceded in death by his father, George Darren Brady; his paternal grandparents, Frank Allen Brady and Althea Rae Brady; and his maternal grandparents, Ned Dick Tillequots and Malinda Ellenwood.

Shane will be remembered for his strong spirit, his love for his people and traditions, and the deep bond he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A dressing service will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 at 10AM at the Wapato Longhouse with Overnight Services to begin at 8PM. Last Service will be held Saturday, February 28th at 6AM at the Wapato Longhouse with the Burial to follow at the Union Gap Cemetery.
