Shana Williams

October 27, 1996 — May 19, 2024

Shana Marie Williams, 27, of Toppenish, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2024. She was born October 27, 1996 in Yakima, Washington to Paula Blodgett and Carnegie Williams. She was the baby daughter/baby sister in her family. She leaves a void that can never be filled. Shana was educated in Toppenish, beginning in Head Start where she was a recognized little helper in her classroom, cleaning tables and setting them for meals and always willing to help her teacher in any way she could. In high school she enjoyed playing Volleyball and Basketball. Upon graduation, she became employed at Old Country Buffet where she welcomed many friends and relatives who were always happy to see her there. She also worked at the Heritage Restaurant and most recently worked in food services at Toppenish Hospital. Shana loved listening to music, baking, cleaning and every day, working out at Wak’ishwi, where she excelled and motivated and loved staying fit. Surely her presence will be missed there. Shana lived for her son, Romeo Ray Arroyo, age 7, who she loved being with, laughing with, teasing and spoiling. Romeo will miss going to the car wash with Shana and living and loving his daily life with his beautiful Mother. We ask for special prayers for him as he begins his continued path without his loving mother. Shana is the loving Sister to Simone Blodgett (Wilde Owens, Sr.), Wesley Williams, Margaret Williams and Patrick Williams, all of Toppenish, WA. Paternal granddaughter to Hank Williams of Tulalip, WA She is a Special Auntie to Natalie Owens, Marissa Owens, Wilde Owens, Jr., Analysia Williams-Moses, and Kylie Williams, all of whom she loved dearly and treated as her own. They will remember their young Auntie as a fun person who loved joy rides, blasting Olivia Rodrigo, cats and tattoos. She is also a unique cousin, niece and friend to many.
