In Loving Memory of Sebastian Jeremiah Osorio
Sunnyside, WA - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Sebastian
Jeremiah Osorio, who left us unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, July 12, 2023. Sebastian struggled
with inner battles that became too overwhelming to bear, and tragically, he succumbed to the pain.
Born on May 29, 2008 , we welcomed our second son Sebastian who brought immense joy and
happiness into our lives from the moment he came into this world. He was one of four children, and was a
compassionate, kind-hearted, and bright young man who had an incredible ability to make those around
him feel cherished and loved. Sebastian had a passion for horses, classic cars, played football &
wrestling at Sunnyside High School, and his sense of humor and charisma were contagious to all who
knew him.
His siblings remember him most as kind, loving, caring, immaculate, handsome, tall, up for a good
adventure, goofy, funny, sweet, patient and a great brother.
Unfortunately, despite the love and support of family and friends, Sebastian faced personal challenges
that were difficult for him to share openly. Mental health struggles can be a silent burden, and as a family,
we earnestly hope that by sharing our grief, we can help break down the barriers that prevent open
conversations about mental health.
In the midst of our grief, we choose to remember the beautiful moments we shared with Sebastian. His
infectious laughter, his love for dancing, and his genuine empathy for others will forever be etched in our
hearts. We will carry his memory with us, cherishing the time we had with him and the lessons he taught
us about compassion and understanding.
Sebastian is survived by his devastated parents, Jose and Amelia Osorio, and his adoring siblings,
Alexzander, Ailema, & Christian. He was a cherished grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends to honor and celebrate Sebastian's life. The viewing
will be held at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside on Sunday July 16th, 2023 from 3 pm to 7 pm. A
mass will be held on Monday July 17th, 2023 at 12 pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sunnyside
followed by the burial at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health challenges, we urge you to seek help and
support. Reach out to friends, family, or professionals who can offer a listening ear and understanding.
We appreciate everyone for the love, support, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Please
remember Sebastian as the vibrant and compassionate soul he was, and hold his memory dear in your
hearts.
May Sebastian Jeremiah Osorio find peace, free from pain and suffering, in the loving arms of our Lord.
Rest in peace, our beloved Sebastian. You will be forever loved and missed.
With Great Love,
Mom, Dad, Alexzander, Ailema, & Christian
