In Loving Memory of Sara “Sally” Stearns Sara “Sally” Stearns, a beloved mother and grandmother, devoted wife, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on August 27th, 2024, in Sunnyside, Washington, at the age of 81. Born on September 10th, 1942, in Denver, Colorado, Sally was known for her feisty spirit and boundless warmth. Sally is survived by her loving spouse, Kenneth Stearns, and their children: Lori Siverson, Sandi Kirby and her husband David Kirby, Edward Stearns and his wife Stacey Stearns, and Christy Valenzuela and her husband Mario (Mawie) Valenzuela. She is also survived by her sister, Loretta Marsh. Sally’s beautiful grandchildren include Nathan Berney, Nicole Smith, Lexy Valenzuela, Sydney Stearns, Sawyer Stearns, Tavian Valenzuela, Bree Valenzuela, and Landon Valenzuela. She is also lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren Audrey Cuellar, Mikah Cuellar, and Maurice Cuellar. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Howard and Mammie Albers. Throughout her life, Sally was known for her silliness, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones, offering support, and creating lasting memories. Sally's nurturing spirit and commitment to her family were evident in every aspect of her life, and she took immense pride in the accomplishments and happiness of those she cared for. Sally’s warm smile, caring nature, and playful spirit will be profoundly missed. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, and her legacy of joy and laughter will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no memorial service preceding her cremation. Sally will forever be remembered for her love, her spirit, and the lasting impact she made on everyone she met. Rest in peace, dear Sally. You will always be in our hearts.
