Sandra JoAnne Campbell, age 79, of 110 Sage Trail Road #2, Yakima, Wa., died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Cottage in the Meadows Hospice.
She was born in Sheboygan, WI., on January 27, 1938 to the late Alexander and Eleanore (VanAkkeren) Adams. Sandy attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Central High School. She also attended college at various institutions.
Sandra spent many years working in the Alcohol/Drug Abuse field in Yakima, Wa. and was a long standing member of the First Presbyterian Church of Yakima.
Sandra was married to the late James G. E. Campbell (1st)(3rd) and to the late Daniel P. Horton (2nd). She is survived by her sons Daniel J. Campbell, Dale P. Horton; her daughter Deborah J. Campbell; 8 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Ruth Speckman, Phyllis Langemak, Jean Smith; her two husbands; and her daughter, Dawn M. O'Donnell.
The immediate family held a private Memorial on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. No public memorial is planned. As Sandy was a Breast Cancer Survivor, the family would prefer donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Society or the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
Per her wishes, Sandra will be interred in the National Cemetery in Sitka, AK with her husband, James.
