Ruth O. Rashford, cherished resident of Zillah, Washington, peacefully passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on December 22, 1932, in Yakima, Washington, Ruth was the beloved daughter of John and Olive Cochran.

On January 22, 1951, she united in marriage with her devoted husband, Benny, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Their bond was first kindled through their mutual involvement with the Toppenish Sheriffs and Sheriffs Auxiliary Horse Teams, and together, they lovingly tended to their family farm in Zillah for many years. Ruth and Benny’s dedication extended to the Buena Grange, where they were proud members for an impressive 65 years.

Ruth’s passions were deeply rooted in gardening and cooking, pursuits through which she expressed her nurturing spirit and zest for life. She leaves behind a treasured legacy carried on by her daughter, Ginger Radke (Bob), her grandchildren Sarah and Aaron, and three great-grandchildren, who all carry forward her loving memory.

With the grace of God’s love, Ruth and Benny are now joyfully reunited in Heaven, their lives a testament to devotion, community, and enduring family bonds.
