Ruth England

Ruth Ann (Kendrick) England of Toppenish passed away on Friday, November 9th 2018 She was born on March 23, 1942, in Laramie, Wyoming to William and Marie Kendrick. She was raised and educated in Fox Park, Wyoming. The family moved to Washington and resided in the Toppenish and Zillah area. On August 11, 1962, she married Alvin England. Ruth worked at various jobs in her younger years, including the agriculture warehouses for a number of years before settling down as a homemaker. She loved animals, especially cats, collecting many types of cat memorabilia with her apartment adorned with them. Weekends were spent at yard sales and visiting with her friends in her apartment complex. Ruth was a member of the Toppenish Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 29 years. She enjoyed having a regular share in the ministry work. One of her favorite scriptures was Revelation 21:4 Her daily visits, sarcastic sense of humor, laughter, and fierce temperament will be greatly missed. She was a very loyal friend always helping others. Forever in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin England, her daughter, Connie, her parents, 5 brothers, 3 sisters and a niece. She is survived by sons, Ken England and Tim England and his wife Debbie, stepdaughters Cindy England and Diana Miller, her sister Cora England, 4 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends from the congregation.
