Ruby Worrell

Run Date: Sunday 10/27 Ruby P. Worrell, 84, of Union Gap passed away on October 23, 2013 at Garden Village. She was born on September 1, 1929 in Wolf Point, MT, to Thomas and Ruby (Keller) Fenton. Ruby lived in the Yakima area for most of her life. She met Dennis Worrell and they married on November 8, 1947. She worked for many years at the family business, Worrell Meats. Ruby loved to travel and she was an avid mall-walker. She has numerous nieces and nephews who claim her as their favorite aunt. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dennis Worrell of Yakima; brother, Howard Fenton of Montana; sisters, Willi (Bob) Washburn and Doris Dobbins, both of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima with reception to follow at a location to be announced.
