Ruby Sartin

Ruby Sartin-Combs, 92 passed away on December 17, 2019. She was born on March 21, 1927 in Springfield, Colorado and moved to Washington State in 1932. Her first real job was at Kresses 5 + dime store, where she met Eugene the Love of her life. They were married 61 years. Her favorite activities were gardening, sewing, poetry, birds and home decorating. Her love of God and family was her greatest joy. She was a faithful active member of Bethel Nazarene Church and cherished her church family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will hold onto precious memories of camping trips and family games. In 2011 Ruby married her dear friend Richard Combs. The joy they found in life together will leave a lasting impact in our hearts. Ruby was proceeded in death by her husband Eugene Sartin and son Carl Sartin. She is survived by her son Dewayne Sartin of Yakima, daughter Sharon (Gary) Nelson of Yakima, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ruby’s gentle, contented spirit will continue to inspire goodness in all of us. A Celebration of Life in her honor will be Saturday March 21, 2020.
