Ruben Sanchez

Ruben Emilio Sanchez III, age 32 of Yakima died tragically on May 10, 2019. He was born January 23, 1987 in Fresno, California to Thelma (Tammy) Guzman and Ruben Emilio Sanchez Jr. He is preceded in death by grandparents Julian and Maria Guzman and grandfather Max Carter, Sr.. Ruben worked in a number of warehouses, loved to cook and helped out with children’s ministry in Seattle and street ministry. He loved spending time with his family at the park, playing with his niece and bbq times with friends and family. Ruben is survived by his parents Thelma Guzman and Ruben Sanchez Jr.; grandmother Margie Carter; sister Alexis M. Martin (Scott); brother Isaac Sanchez; aunts: Anna Gorny (Kevin), Symone Castillo (Tito), Vickie Tellez (Mario); uncle Max Carter Jr.; special niece and nephew Thelma and Kyle Martin Jr.; and numerous extended family members. Ruben will be dearly missed! Viewing will be 10:30am-3pm, Friday, May 17, 2019 at Valley Hills Funeral Home (531 16th St., Sunnyside, WA). Funeral Service will start at 3pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Graveside inurnment will be held one day next week at Calvary Cemetery in Yakima.
