Roy Knoeb

Roy C. Knoeb Jr. “Flaco” Roy C. Knoeb Jr. was born March 26,1957 in Toppenish, WA to Roy and Enriqueta “Rita” (Castillo) Knoeb. On January 24th, 2023 in a tragic incident at Circle K in Yakima, WA, Roys life was taken unexpectedly. Roy was the youngest of his siblings and was the only boy and grew up with 6 sisters. We lost a beloved father, brother, uncle and friend. Flaco will always be remembered as a family man, who enjoyed the great outdoors along with gardening, fishing, camping, and family BBQ’s. He was the type of person who would do anything to help anyone in need. Roy was a survived by his children Daelyn Knoeb, Roy Knoeb lll, Timathy Knoeb, and his niece Gloria Knoeb (who he raised as his own). He was also survived by his sisters Virgina Ashby, Susie (Martin) Estrada, Jeannie (Donald) Espinoza, Nellie (Andy) Ozuna, and numerous cousins. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. Roy was proceeded in death by his parents Roy and Rita Knoeb, also his sisters Marylou Chavez and Rosie Corona. The family would like to thank everyone who’s helped with services and have reached out to us during this difficult time. A special thank you to Valley Hills Funeral Home, YPD, Comprehensive Health, and the Yakima Association of Faith Communities. Services will be Thurs. Feb. 2nd at Valley Hills in Wapato from 2-6 pm with a celebration of life (potluck) to immediately follow at the Wapato community center.
