Rose Masengale

Rose Marie Masengale Rose Masengale returned to her Heavenly Father on 5 September, 2018. We are all saddened by her passing but are happy for her to finally be out of pain from her cancer fight. Rose was born 15 August 1958, to Greg and Janet Elsen. She married Steve Masengale on 9 October 1987, and they have two children, Sean and Ryan. She has one brother, Chuck, and one sister, Carol. Rose told all of us that she had the easy job; in that, she got to leave this crazy world and return to her Father in Heaven. We are the ones who have to keep on living in all the craziness. Rose loved her family, and she loved the Lord. She also loved all animals, but had a special fondness for bunnies. She saw the Lord's love every time she saw one. Rose loved serving others wherever we were. She was taught the value of service by her parents and carried those lessons throughout her life. She even taught them to her children, so that legacy will live on. She was happiest when her two sons were around her, or when she was serving others. Rose found life exciting at every age. She was always willing to help us or someone else to have a brighter day by giving them a smile or by dropping off a treat. Even during her fight with cancer she would make jokes or do something different to lighten the day. The funeral service to honor Rose will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Carlsonia in Zillah at 10:00 am on Saturday, 15 September, 2018, with graveside at the Zillah Cemetery. Church appropriate dress, please, in her honor. Rose asked that in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to the ASPCA to help the animals that she loved so much.
