YAKIMA - Ronald Eugene Robison, 79, of Yakima passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Cottage in the Meadow, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 30, 1930 to George and Vivian (Sloan) Robison in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ronald lived in the Yakima Valley for most of his life and attended school in Selah. He married Lila Rutz on May 30, 1963. Mom and Dad just celebrated their 50th anniversary. Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force as a crew chief then he worked as a fuel truck driver for over 10 years for Zero Morris and later retired from DSHS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and spending time with his family. He was proud to be an enrolled member of the Cherokee Indian Tribe.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Lila Robison of Yakima; sons, Brian (Kelly O’Neal) Robison of Yakima and Byron “Teeny” (Lavon) Robison of Zillah; daughter, Tonita (Rob) Berger; sister, Isabelle (Don) Mohar of Grandview; grandchildren, Madyson Berger, Carson Robison, and Payton Berger; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vivian Robison and an infant sister.

Visitation will be offered on Thursday, September 19, 3 PM - 7 PM at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Yakima. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with burial to follow at Outlook Cemetery with military honors.
