Tyats (Ronald Alex Jim Jr.) passed away at his home on March 26, 2017. He was born in Toppenish and graduated from Wapato High School.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Sampson; father, Ronald Jim Sr.; sisters, Mary Alice Shippentower(Jon Sconawah) and Serelia Jim; brother, Niles Jim( Denise Antelope); aunts, Nita Shippentower, Julie Sampson, Darlene Jim, Elissa Flamming, Jeannette Coombs; uncles, George Sampson(Donna Sampson) and Wilfred Jim(Geraldine Jim); nephews, Patrick Wesley-Jim and Chance Wesley; numerous special cousins, nieces, nephews from Sampson, Jim, Shippentower, Stahi, Wyena, Wesley, Wolfe, Whitefoot, Barney, Gladstone, and Headley families.
He joins many elders he missed and loved so much, his grandparents and uncles and aunts and cousins
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Lena Jim, David Sampson, and Nancy and Richard Jim.
Dressing services will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Wapato Longhouse. Burial will follow early Friday morning at the Tweetmy Cemetery on Satus Pass. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato is entrusted with arrangements.
