Ronald D. Delp, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born on January 31, 1941 to Boyd and Gertrude Delp in Missouri before moving to Zillah in 1945.

Ron was a proud veteran who served his country with honor. He loved to farm as well as work his job at the phone company for 35 years. He had a lifelong love of sports and was especially talented at baseball, a game that brought him great joy and connection with others.

Though he often carried a rough exterior, those who truly knew Ron understood his generous spirit and soft heart. He was always willing to help others and looked out for those around him.

Ronald will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His graveside service will be Friday, January 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Zillah Cemetery with a lunch at the Zillah Civic Center following.
