Rogelio Cipriano

Rogelio Cipriano longtime Toppenish resident, went home to be with our Lord on March 17,2023 at age 88.He went peacefully at home surrounded by his children and loved ones. He was born on 9/14/1934 in Nueva Rosita Coahuila, Mexico to Pedro Cipriano Sr.& Julia Maria Marcos.Rogelio came to the U.S.at a young age teaching himself many trades such as a mechanic & carpentry. He also migrated to numerous states as a farmworker.He met and married his estranged wife Gloria Lopez in 1960 in Colorado, making their home in Toppenish, Wa.He enjoyed fishing & spending time with his family especially at barbeques & birthdays. Rogelio is survived by his sons Raymond Sanchez of Yakima, Ernesto Cipriano & Rafael Cipriano of Toppenish.And Rogelio Cipriano Jr.of Texas. His daughters Susan (Jose) Sanchez of Yakima,Julie (Lazaro) Ontiveros of Toppenish & Gloria (Eli) Romero of Tacoma.A brother Guillermo (Maria Elena) Cipriano & sister Maria Cipriano of Texas.He had 31 grandkids,57 great grandkids,4 great, great grandkids & 3 great, great, great grandkids, numerous nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Pedro & Julia Maria Marcos Cipriano, Gloria Lopez, an infant son, his son Jesse Cipriano, grandson Antonio Ramirez, granddaughters Gloria Cordova Cipriano & Mariah Mendoza.
