Our loving son Robert Rory Tromblee was called by the Lord on August 3, 2017. He was born on June 29, 1987 to Robert Harold Tromblee Jr. and Gaynell Queahpama. Robert was an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation. He was raised on the Yakama Reservation and Great Falls, Montana. We all knew him as Son. He had the biggest heart in the world. He loved all his nieces and nephews so very much. Most of his time was spent being around family and wanting to make everyone smile. He was a great Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin and Uncle. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Gordon Estes Queahpama and Myra Sharlow, Edith Queahpama, his brother Joseph Queahpama and nephew Giovanni Camargo.
Dressing service was held August 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato, WA. Overnight services were held at the Wapato Longhouse Saturday night and burial was Sunday, August 6, 2017 at sunrise at the Union Gap Cemetery.
Son is survived by his loving parents Robert Harold Tromblee Jr. and Gaynell Queahpama; brothers Harry Queahpama (Alyre) Justus Cree, Robert H. Tromblee III (Jarine) and James Tromblee (Aleena); sisters Liberty Cree, Roberta Wallahee (Jim W.), Tanaya Tromblee and Amy Tromblee; 16 nieces and nephews who loved him and looked up to him.
We’re going to miss our beloved “Science guy” who could quote every movie, and his smile. Thank you all who attended services.
