Robert Tillett

Robert D Tillett 82, passed away peacefully at home September 2,2015. He was born October 13, 1932 in Dow City, Iowa to Vurnace and Eva Tillett. He spent his early childhood in Atlantic, IA and came to Washington in the spring of 1949. He married Norma Applehof in 1951. He worked 32 years as a meat cutter and spent 10 years working with the meat cutters union. Early on it was apparent in work and family there were too many "Bobs". He always said "call me Sam". Sam is survived by his loving family. His wife Norma of 63 years. 4 children Christine Patacini, Dennis (Debora), Patty (John) Smallo, Tom (Kris). 7 grand children and 13 great grand children. He is also survived by brothers Ted, Don, Bruce and Ron. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. At his request there will be no formal services.
