Robert E St. Mary, 91, of Yakima, peacefully passed away on February 12, 2015. He was born in Yakima on September 2, 1923. He attended Wapato High School and Eastern Washington University, where he played several sports. . He married his high school sweetheart, Lucille Taylor, and they enjoyed 71 years together, raising a family and traveling extensively. Through out his life he remained an avid sports fan. Bob also enjoyed music, singing in the Evergreen Quartet, with his brothers Jim and Bud. Bob owned and operated hardware & lumber stores in Harrah & Selah. He was a man of strong faith and character who touched many lives. He is survived by his wife, Lucille St. Mary, and their sons, Rick (Mikal) and Scott (Juli), all of Yakima, and daughter in law, Linda, as well as his 9 grandchildren, Ryan, Kelly, Rob, Lori, Michelle, Brian, Jennifer, Jaclyn, and Brynn. He is also survived by his 3 great grandchildren Nick, drew, and Taylor. He is preceded in death by his son, Randy and his brothers, Lawrence, Harold, Bud, and Charles P “Jim”. The Recitation of the Rosary will be on Tuesday at 5:00 at St Paul’s Chapel, followed by visitation. The Mass Of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday at 10:00 at St. Paul’s Cathedral, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
