Robert Hill

Bob was born in Ellensburg, Washington and was the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ralph R. Hill of Yakima. After graduating from West Valley High he served in the US Coast Guard, with most of his duty attached to a Coast Guard Cutter in Alaska. Upon his discharge he returned to the Yakima Valley he loved so much. He held a job at CarQuest and Yakima Grinding in his later years. He enjoyed snow, skiing, golf and was an avid supporter of his Seahawks and Mariners. He enjoyed a steadfast friendship with many who remained so supportive through out the years. Special thanks to his “Hoops” family and friends where he spent his time telling stories, watching games, playing electronic golf, enjoying his cold beers and leaving an imprint to all who had the pleasure of meeting or knowing him. Bob is survived by his sister Karen Hill Murray, her husband Doug Warren, nephew Tyler Murray and countless friends.
