Robert Emery

Robert Lynn Emery, age 44, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2019 at University of Washington in Seattle. Rob was born on September 17, 1974 to Steven and Sharon Emery. Rob graduated from Granger High School and later attended Peninsula Community College. In 2001, Rob Married the love of his life Marcia. Together they had three boys who are his pride and joy. Rob worked for Costco from 1996-2016. He loved coaching his son’s basketball and watching his boys play sports. He enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family camping, boating and working on wood projects. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Emery; sons, Brycen Emery, Trevor Emery and Gavin Emery; father, Steven (Carol) Emery; mother, Sharon Guy-Emery; brothers Mike Allan, Steven (Jennifer) Emery, and Phillip Emery; sister, Lavonda (Ken) Bird; stepsisters, Krista Goben and Lisa Sappenfield; stepbrothers, Jay Steen and Bob Steen; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandparents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 4-7 pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 1 pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Graveside services will follow at the Outlook Cemetery.
