My father, Richard Hanson passed away on September 18, 2014 at 1:14 AM. My dad adopted me when I was only 11 years old and he changed my life by teaching me the importance of having a family and for that I will forever be grateful.
My dad taught me the importance of having good work ethic and he shared his business mindset with me. He was a successful business owner for over 50 years and he was also a wise investor that firmly believed in the benefits that come with planning for the future and wealth accumulation. My father was able to take business related matters very seriously, but he was a free spirit at heart. He enjoyed: hiking, taking long walks on the beach, and travelling the world during his free time.
My dad and I have travelled abroad together. We both explored the Peruvian culture together and I will always remember my dad’s sense of humor and his ability to fit into a whole new culture despite the language barrier. My father was able to stay strong until the very end, but he had the help of three amazing individuals: My mom (Rosa Hanson), Veronica, Jessie, and Teresa took good care of my dad when he needed help the most. Thank you guys for taking good care of my dad!!! RIP dad!! You will forever live in my heart!
