It is with heavy hearts that the family of Richard Ugene Burchak announces his passing on July 7, 2018 after a courageous fight with cancer. Ric was a loving father, avid outdoorsman, and dedicated attorney. He was born on July 4, 1960 in Great Falls, Montana. He grew up on his family ranch in Shonkin, Montana and graduated from Highwood high school in 1978. He enlisted in the U.S. Army as an active duty Soldier in 1978. He served as a satellite communication system operator maintainer (25S) until1982. He Graduated from Montana State University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He attended and graduated from Gonzaga Law School 1990 with Juris Doctorate. He was employed by Skala and Associates for many years before opening his own law firm: Burchak Law Office.
Richard Burchak is preceded in death by his mother Benita Burchak and his brother Allen Randall Burchak; survived by his father Kenneth Burchak, his significant other Karen Overacker, sister Debbie, three daughters Kendra Burns, Megan Burchak, and Jennifer Burchak, and two granddaughters Arriel and Makenna Burchak-Kienenberger.
